Privacy Policy — Run Code Run
Last updated: 11 June 2026
Run Code Run ("the app") is designed and published by James Buchanan Cowan ("I", "me", "my"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: it doesn't collect any.
No data collection
Run Code Run does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app works entirely offline on your device. There are no user accounts, no logins, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
I have no access to anything you do in the app, and no information ever leaves your iPad.
Photos and your own content
The app lets you add your own images (for characters and backgrounds), sounds, and decorations. When you choose to upload an image, the app asks for permission to access your photo library. This permission is optional — the app comes with built-in content and works fully without it.
Any content you add is stored only on your own device. It is never uploaded, shared, or sent anywhere. If you delete the app, that content is removed with it.
No internet connection
The app does not connect to the internet, send data to any server, or communicate with any third party. The only exception is if you tap the in-app link to the tutorial video, which opens YouTube in your browser or the YouTube app. Once you follow that link, YouTube's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Children's privacy
Run Code Run is suitable for use by performers entertaining audiences of all ages. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children. Nothing about who uses the app, including children, is recorded or transmitted.
Changes to this policy
If I update the app in a way that changes how it handles information, I'll update this policy and change the date at the top.
