Quick answers
The app won't detect my volume button press.
Make sure you're not already at maximum volume when you start a performance. Volume Buttons mode needs headroom to detect a press. If it stops responding mid-show, try unplugging and reconnecting any Bluetooth audio device, which can occasionally interrupt volume monitoring.
My background photo still shows its own clock or status bar.
Use Crop Background in the Home Screen section of the Secret Menu. Drag the line down until it sits just under the photo's own status bar, then confirm. Iconify draws its own live clock on top, so the original one needs to be cropped away.
I switched logo sets and now nothing happens when I start.
Make sure the set you've selected has a logo uploaded. Iconify will automatically fall back to a set that does if the current one is empty, but every set still needs at least one logo uploaded somewhere to perform.
I want to go back to the bundled app icons.
In Set App Icons, switch to the Default tab at any time. It's always available and can't be edited or lost.

Iconify ("the App") is designed with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use Iconify.
What we collect
Iconify does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. There is no account creation, no login, and no user tracking of any kind.
Photos and images
When you upload a background photo, a logo, or app icon images inside Iconify, those images are selected using Apple's built-in Photos picker and are stored only on your own device, inside the app's private storage. Iconify never uploads, transmits, or shares any image you select with us or with any third party.
Device sensors
Iconify uses your device's motion sensors (tilt) purely to power an on-screen animation during performance, and reads your device's battery level to display an accurate status bar. Neither of these is transmitted anywhere or stored beyond the current session.
Reveal links
Iconify lets you enter a custom web address, a Reveal URL, that opens when a performance finishes. This link is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. If you choose to open it, you will leave Iconify and be subject to that website's own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no visibility into, what that destination does with your data.
Inject (optional) 10/09/26
If you choose to use Inject, Iconify sends the Inject account number you provide to Inject's own service to retrieve a spectator's search result for use in a performance. This only happens if you have entered an Inject number and switched on Use Inject Search for a specific client. Iconify does not send anything else to Inject, and does not control or have visibility into how Inject's own service handles that request.
Analytics, ads, and third parties
Iconify contains no advertising, no analytics software, and no third-party tracking software of any kind.
Children's privacy
Iconify is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
