Digital Reveals ("the App") is developed and operated by James Buchanan Cowan.   We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through the App.

 

1. No Data Collection

The App is designed as a performance utility for magicians and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information.

• No Account Creation: Users are not required to create an account to use the App.

• No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics (like Firebase or Google Analytics) to track your usage.

2. Local Device Permissions

The App requests specific permissions on your iOS device to enable core features. This data stays on your device and is never shared with us:

• Bluetooth: Used solely to connect to the Flic 2 Smart Button for hands-free performance.

• Photos: Used only via the system PhotosPicker to allow you to select a custom background image from your library. The App does not have full access to your photo library and cannot see or transmit your photos.

• Audio/Volume: The App monitors the system volume levels to allow the physical volume buttons to act as a trigger. We do not record audio or access the microphone.

3. Third-Party Services

Because we do not collect data, we do not share any information with third parties. The only third-party interaction is the optional Bluetooth connection to your Flic hardware.

4. Your Rights (GDPR/UK DPA)

As we do not collect any personal data, there is no data for you to access, rectify, or erase. However, if you contact us for support via email, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry and will not use it for marketing purposes.
