Do Knot Forget is designed to provide fast, personal reminders while keeping your information private.
Information stored by the app
Do Knot Forget may store information that you choose to enter or create, including:

This information is stored locally on your device.
Contacts
Do Knot Forget uses Apple’s system Contacts picker.
The app does not automatically copy or import your entire address book.
Only people that you specifically select are added to Do Knot Forget.
The app uses the selected person’s name to help you create and organise reminders.
Photos and Camera
You may choose to use the camera to take a photograph and assign it to a person in your reminder list.
These photographs are used within the app to personalise your reminder list.
Alarms and Reminders
Do Knot Forget uses Apple’s alarm functionality to create alarms and reminders that you request.
Alarm access is used only to schedule reminders created by you.
Data Collection
Do Knot Forget does not require an account.
Do Knot Forget does not collect your reminder information, selected contacts or photographs on an external server.
The app does not sell personal information.
The app does not use personal information for advertising or tracking.
Analytics and Advertising
Do Knot Forget does not use third-party advertising.
Do Knot Forget does not use your personal reminder data for analytics or marketing.
Removing Your Data
You can remove people, photographs and reminder history from within the app.
Removing Do Knot Forget from your device will also remove information stored locally by the app, subject to normal iOS backup and restoration behaviour.

This policy may be updated if the functionality of Do Knot Forget changes.

Quick Help
How do I create a reminder?
Tap the reminder field on the main screen and type what you want to remember.
After you stop typing for the configured capture period, the app schedules the reminder automatically.
You can also press Search on the keyboard to create it immediately.
What is Multiple mode?
Multiple mode allows you to create several reminders without closing the app.
Do Knot Forget starts in Multiple mode each time you launch the app.
What is Single mode?
Single mode allows one reminder to be created during the current app session.
This can be useful when you simply want to open the app, create one reminder and leave.
You can switch back to Multiple mode from Setup.
How do I open Setup?
Double-tap the You icon in the bottom-right corner of the main screen.
Why isn't my alarm appearing?
Open Setup and check that:

Alarm Enabled is switched on

Do Knot Forget has Alarm access

the reminder delay is set appropriately
You can also check Do Knot Forget's permissions in the iPhone Settings app.
How do I add someone?
Tap the + button on the main screen.
Do Knot Forget uses Apple's system Contacts picker, allowing you to choose individual people.
The app does not automatically import your full contacts list.
How do I add a photograph?
Tap the camera button and take a photograph.
You can then choose which saved person you want to assign it to.
Can I customise Do Knot Forget?
Yes.
You can change colours, section names, navigation labels, categories, reminder-field wording and other options in Setup.
The intention is for you to arrange the app in whatever way helps you remember.
