Digital Revelations is a performance application created for magicians and mentalists.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Digital Revelations iOS application.

Our Approach to Privacy

Digital Revelations has been designed to require as little personal information as possible.

You do not need to create an account to use the app.

We do not require your name, address, telephone number or other personal details in order to use Digital Revelations.

Microphone Access

Digital Revelations may request access to your device microphone.

Microphone access is used during performance to listen for spoken cues selected by the performer.

For example, the app may listen for:

• the configured Assistant Name

• the configured Start Trigger

• other spoken cues required for the performance sequence

The developer does not intentionally record or store audio recordings from your performances on its own servers.

Speech Recognition

Digital Revelations uses Apple's speech recognition technology to recognise spoken performance cues.

Speech recognition is provided by Apple and may involve processing by Apple's services depending on your device, operating system and Apple settings.

Any processing performed by Apple is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.

Digital Revelations uses the recognised text only to control the performance sequence.

The developer does not operate a separate speech recognition server for this purpose.

Photo Library Access

Digital Revelations allows you to select images for features including:

• performance backgrounds

• custom app icons

• visual assets used during a performance

Images are selected using Apple's system photo picker.

Digital Revelations only receives the images you specifically choose.

Selected images may be stored locally on your device so that they remain available for future performances.

The developer does not automatically upload those images to its own servers.

Performance Settings

Information such as your selected:

• Assistant Name

• trigger word

• performance timing

• response phrases

• app library

• Set Lists

• display preferences

may be stored locally on your device.

This allows your setup to remain available when you close and reopen the app.

Personal Data Collection

Digital Revelations does not require a user account.

The developer does not intentionally collect personal information through the app for advertising or profiling purposes.

The app does not sell your personal information.

Advertising

Digital Revelations does not use your personal information to provide targeted advertising.

If advertising or third-party analytics services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Analytics and Crash Information

Apple may provide developers with aggregated diagnostic, performance or crash information through Apple's developer services when users have chosen to share that information with developers.

This information is controlled by Apple and your device privacy settings.

Where such information is available, it may be used to identify crashes, improve reliability and fix technical problems.

Third-Party Services

Digital Revelations relies on Apple technologies including features such as:

• iOS

• microphone permissions

• speech recognition

• speech synthesis

• photo selection

Use of those Apple services may also be subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

 

Data Security

Digital Revelations is designed to keep performance configuration and selected assets on the user's device wherever practical.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to minimise the amount of information handled by the application.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may occasionally be updated to reflect changes to Digital Revelations, Apple services or legal requirements.
